Provides legendary client service by managing client Service Agents, Operations Agents and Skycaps and supervising the performance of their career to ensure that all career assignments are carried out in accordance with company regulations in a safe and efficient manner to ensure that the operation is maintained on time.

Your main responsibilities in this role include:

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Provides special care, attention, and assistance to internal and external SWA clients as needed
  • Assists in training and mentoring Operations Agents, client Service Agents, and Skycaps to ensure awareness of appropriate regulations, procedures, and company policies
  • Manages and evaluates the career performance of Operations Agents, client Service Agents, and Skycaps to ensure that their career performance, attendance and appearance meet company qualifications
  • Establishes clear expectations about daily tasks and actions or process changes on employees
  • Recognizes team members’ accomplishments and ensures appropriate and effective training/accountability is provided to address performance deficiencies
  • Actively coordinates with all departments to maintain station performance on time
  • Partners with fellow supervisors and leadership to achieve station goals
  • Ensures that all Operations Agents, client Service Agents and Skycaps are properly appointed and used. Requests overtime as needed and maintains maximum use and efficiency of all shift staff
  • Proactively reallocate staff as needed and assign breaks and meals as needed
  • Decides that aircraft are properly maintained and provisioned prior to departure and that all forms and records are properly completed and maintained
  • Inspect supplies and equipment to determine plant needs are met
  • May perform signature responsibilities to SIDA as assigned
  • You must be able to meet any physical ability qualifications listed in this description
  • May perform other job duties as routed by staff leaders

  • Ability to successfully complete client service and operations agent training and perform all essential business functions for operations and client service agents.
  • The ability to assume a high level of responsibility
  • Ability to career with others as part of a team, interview audiences and career in a variety of challenging situations under stressful conditions
  • Ability to communicate content and instructions effectively orally, via radio equipment, over the phone, face to face, via public address systems and in writing
  • Ability to read documents, follow instructions, learn, understand, and teach operations and rules and regulations for operations and client service.
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • The ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard quickly enough to meet business qualifications
  • The ability to adequately use and navigate existing computer programs, including Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to career in airport operations office, gate area, jet roads and air cargo facilities. You may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions and the noise and fumes of aircraft and machinery
  • Ability to demonstrate high awareness of hazardous situations and maintain a safe career environment as well as handle emergencies as needed
  • Ability to maintain vigilance to move vehicles and aircraft
  • Ability to operate safely and urgently under tight time constraints to achieve rapid aircraft rotation
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to solve complex operational problems
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential content
  • Knowledge of client service agent, ramp, operations, sourcing and shipping, collective bargaining agreements and company policies and procedures preferred
  • No educational qualifications
  • Preferred: Two years of airline related career experience in client service positions
  • You must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all the qualifications of the local airport
  • Preferred: A valid driver’s license issued in the United States
  • Ability to obtain a GSC qualification and comply with the DOT . Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
  • The command of the station may request a customs stamp and meet all qualifications for international flights
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70 lbs regularly and lift and/or move weights 40 to 50 lbs repeatedly on elevated surfaces
  • The ability to get up, bend down, kneel and stand frequently and for long periods
  • Ability to career in confined or high organizations
  • Ability to carry heavy objects up and down waterway stairs
  • Must maintain the ability to wear the prescribed uniform

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company appearance standards as described in applicable guidelines
  • Must be a US citizen or have authorization to career in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be able to comply with the company’s attendance standards as set out in applicable guidelines
  • He must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be able to career different shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime and training may require some travel
